Story

Susan and Joe met through friends at a debutante ball in Raleigh, NC back in 2003. They were seated next to each other at dinner. Joe felt a little out of place, but Susan got him to come out of his shell and lightened the mood a bit. Three years later while Susan was visiting friends at UNCG, they ran into eachother again at a dance party and the rest was history!

The pair now live together in Richmond, VA where Susan is getting her Master's in Museum Studies at VCU. She has been heavily involved in the art community, working part time as assistant for the director of the new Institute for Contemporary Art, as well as interning at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Joe works as a web designer for Royall & Company, owned by a major player/benefactor in the local Richmond art scene. He continues to play music with his new band Candy Spots.
